Excellence in orientation

Role: Art Direction & Design ︱ Client: Nokia/Here ︱ Year: 2014

In 2014 I was asked to guide the redesign of the official HERE map, which is used in multiple HERE and 3rd party applications to serve different B2C & B2B needs. The complex task included an appearance alignment to the new Nokia/HERE brand and an improved excellence in orientation and guidance for different mobility scenarios.

Design for 22+ terrain styles, 8+ road types, 4+ overlay types, applied to 1 complete world and individually optimised for 17 zoom levels, 8+ multiple devices & use cases and 7 map modes.
